Photographic Paintings are photographs that have been given the look and feel of a traditional painting. Paintings can have the look of a watercolor, acrylic, pastel, or oil painting. This is accomplished in our studio using a digital tablet and painting tool. We do not simply run the photo through a paint "filter" to accomplish the painting effect, however. We add digital brushstrokes on top of the portrait, adding colors, textures, shadows and highlights to make your image look exactly like a painting, but at much less cost. And when we are finished, we can print on different art papers or even traditional stretched canvas for the final artistic touch. Copies can be made of your painting, or we can "lock" your files, so your creation will remain one-of-a-kind forever. These portraits are truly heirlooms, suitable for lifetime display. And they look great encased in a Mosaic Frame!
