Newborn Photography
We prefer to have newborn babies in the Creative Lair within the first two weeks of life, and we welcome babies as young as 48 hours. We will keep your baby warm and safe during the Session, and you have your choice of Half-Hour, Hour, or Timeless Sessions to accomplish our goals. Timeless Sessions are scheduled in either the morning or the afternoon, and essentially do not have a limit, so you do not feel rushed, and if baby needs to eat and be soothed by their parents, it is really not a problem. We work until our goal list for the Session has been met, and it is a very relaxed atmosphere. All Sessions include a Book of your favorite images inside, which has been handmade and personalized in our Studio. We offer full printing services, including stretched canvas portraits,Announcements, and a variety of gift prints and fine art prints to complete your memory making experience. Please schedule your Session during your last month or two of pregnancy. Newborn Session Pricing
Half-Hour Session
We will have time for 1 or 2 looks depending upon how content baby is. SWATCHBOOK of 12 portraits customized with your choice of colors is included. Moms, please bring Dad or another adult who is close to you to help handle the baby so you can just relax during the Session. We will connect before your Session regarding looks and goals.

Hour Session
We will have time for 3 or more looks depending upon how content baby is, and family work is a definite possibility. Book of 30 portraits customized with your choice of colors and designs is included. Moms, please bring Dad or another adult who is close to you to help handle the baby, so you can relax and enjoy the show. We will connect before your Session regarding looks and goals.
$140. You may add a USB Package to this Session (USB, Print License, and an 11x14 Thick Canvas Portrait) for an additional $275. Or you may order from our Print and Product Menu below.
Newborn Unlimited Artisan Session (morning or afternoon)
This is a unique offering in our Studio, because it is not time-limited. We will schedule you for a morning or afternoon appointment, and we will work through many different ideas and goals. We ask that Moms bring either Dad or a close friend or relative to help with the baby so Mom can just relax. You've done a LOT of work recently! We will have fresh beverages and juice, as well as a few snacks for Mom, and her job is to watch, feed, and comfort the baby if necessary, as we work. We will use a variety of backgrounds, props, swaddles, wraps, and containers to make truly beautiful art pieces of your newborn. Family portraits are also included. We will have a warm ambient temperature in our Lair to keep baby happy, so dress appropriately. If it is nice outdoors (summer!), we will even do some portraiture in our Garden. Before this Session, we will connect on the phone or via messaging to plan our goals and looks. You will be consulted about color palettes and styles. Plan for 2-3 hours total for this experience. We usually schedule our morning Session at 9 am and our afternoon Session at 2.
Because of the unlimited nature of this Session, we charge a fee of $525 due when we shoot, which covers either a USB Package (USB, Print License, 12x16 Thick Canvas Portrait, Book of 40 Portraits), or you may opt for the Print Portrait Package shown below.
